Trained in film at the Victorian College of the Arts, Linus is a director based in Melbourne, Australia, with a focus on technical formalism while dismantling traditional narrative structures. They use notions of place and identity as canvases for narrative experimentations. Linus's graduating work, Journey's End (2023), was shot on 16mm film. They have a demonstrated interest in the plastic elements of filmmaking, working in archive producing and research on a number of features, including Aquarius (2024) and Dale Frank – Nobody's Sweetie (2024), both of which featured at Sydney Film Festival. Linus is currently writing their next short, titled Quarters, about a misdelivered letter and one person's odyssey to return it to the intended recipient.
